#TheEmoPalace was created to be a fun and friendly place to come and meet people into the same things as you! You can talk about music, movies, books, anything you want, really! However, there are some rules. These rules are in place to ensure that we all get along decently and have peace and order. Please make sure to read them and follow them.

PROPER ENGLISH IS NOW A RULE OF THIS CHAT. NO NETSPEAK, PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPELLING, AND PAY ATTENTION IN ENGLISH CLASS.


1. Do not disrespect -anyone- in the chatroom. This includes mods, admins, and MEMBERS.

2. Spamming is NOT accepted. This is in the form of CAPS, streeeeeeettttttccccccchhhhhhhhhhhhing, or excessive use of bold or underline, or over-emoting.

3. Attention-whores will get immediate kick. We don't want to hear about your art, your other chats, how you want to kill yourself, or you asking for pity. Seriously. We don't care. You're gone.

4. Cybering is not allowed, and there is a site age-limit. We would prefer that mature-acting people only participate in chat, because immature people have the habit of being banned rather quickly. The site's age limit is 13, so people who aren't 13 will obviously be immediately banned.

You will get a warning first--then kicked. If you keep breaking the rules, expect a eviction notice in the form of a ban.
